Covid-19 Safety Measures

We pride ourselves on the ability to move and adapt the school, in line with whatever health guidelines are in place. As such at the schools we can offer remote lessons for those who do not wish to actively come to the shop. We use various platforms including Zoom (our preferred software), Skype, WhatsApp video, and Facetime. If you are interested in taking remote lessons please call us or email us today on

Please note, all remote lessons run 27-28 minutes long to allow for teachers to set up lessons.

Face to Face
For face to face lessons, the health and safety of our students and teachers are of major importance to us. To that end, we have implemented various safety measures at the schools, and in each of our rooms. All rooms are fitted with true HEPA air filtration units.

Facemasks are not a requirement but left up to the individual to decide.
Teachers are requested to clean all door handles and equipment before a lesson begins. Students are advised to bring their own instrument where possible.

There are antiseptic dispensers available throughout the school. We encourage all our students and staff to use these.

We have changed the start times to 50% of our lessons. By changing the start times of lessons from on the hour / half hour to quarter / quarter past, we have reduced the traffic into and around all rooms by around half.

Each face to face lesson is approx. 30 minutes long. Within these 30 mins, teachers may choose to sanitise
the room prior to the next lesson. This process takes between 2 to 3 mins and we ask our students to please take this into consideration.

Covid 19 Safety Requirements

Keeping our Schools safe is of upmost importance to us at Everest School of Music. We ask that all our students, parents of students or those entering our shop for lessons adhere to the following requirements.

If they should feel un
well, have a cough, fever, sore throat, breathlessness, we ask them not to attend lessons or come into the shop. But instead, to stay home and follow the HSE’s advice guidelines. All lessons can take place remotely, so students do not need to miss out. Please contact us in advance to arrange lesson remotely. This must be done at least 2 hours ahead of the scheduled start time.

We ask all students and parents to keep their distance from other members of the public when
attending lessons. Children should not be waiting for long periods of time to be collected so we ask that all collections be made as soon as lessons are over. There is an area to the rear of the shop where they can wait.

Everest School of Music reserves the right to refuse a student admission or tuition, who does not follow our Covid-19 safety requirements. Refunds will not be made up in any such case.
